Call for Nominations: American Psychological Association Division 38 Awards Program

Call for Nominations: American Psychological Association Division 38 Awards Program Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology. Division 38 gives four awards each year for outstanding contributions to the field. One goes to a “senior” researcher member (i.e., someone who received her or his terminal degree> 10 years ago); one goes to a “early career” researcher member (i.e., someone who earned his/her terminal degree within the past 10 years); one goes to a clinical service provider member; and one goes to a health psychology educator/trainer. • To nominate someone for the Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology by a Senior Professional Award, please send a 1-2 page letter describing the individual’s work and why that person is worthy of recognition, as well as a copy of the individual’s CV. • For the Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology by an Early Career Professional Award, please send a 1-2 page letter describing the individual’s work and why that person is worthy of recognition, a copy of the individual’s CV, and a few (2-3) key publications. • The Award for Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Health Psychologyis intended to recognize outstanding commitment to clinical health psychology by a full-time provider of direct clinical services. Nominees should typically spend a minimum of twenty hours weekly in direct, face-to-face patient care, in assessment or therapy, in individu...

In this study, 2 mol% Co(NO3)2•6H2O was used as the sintering aid, GDC interlayers with 2 mol% Co(NO3)2•6H2O (Co-GDC) were sintered at 1150 °C, 1200 °C, 1250 °C and 1350 °C, respectively. The Co-GDC interlayer sintered at 1150 °C was porous, but only closed pores existed when the Co-GDC interlayers were sintering above 1250 °C. The initial ohmic resistances of the cells with Co-GDC interlayers sintered at 1150 °C, 1250 °C and 1350 °C were 0.259, 0.266 and 0.299 Ω cm2. After the cells running for 100 h, the ohmic resistances were 0.289, 0.262 an...

Firstly, the luminescent molecule HOPTS (8-hydroxypyene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid trisodium salt) was incorporated into the silica spheres to form the green emission silica materials, HOPTS@SiO2, that were characterized by SEM (scanning electron microscope), FTIR (fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and luminescence spectroscopy to verify the...

GemmingAbstractMicrostructure of (GeS3)100-xAgx (x = 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25) and (GeS2)100-xAgx (x = 0, 5, 10, 15, 20) has been studied by scanning electron microscopy. It is found that the glasses of both systems are phase separated: (GeS3)100-xAgx for 5 ≤ x ≤ 20 at.% and (GeS2)100-xAgx for 10 ≤ x ≤ 15 at.%. Morphology of coexisting phases is essentially dependent on the glass composition. ...

WO3 nanofibers were synthesized using e-spinning, annealed and drop-casted on to flexible PET substrate. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) studies confirm the formation of Hexagonal phase-WO3 and Raman spectroscopy proved the presence of O-W-O bending modes. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) images displayed t...

Abstract The combined immunotherapy of nivolumab and ipilimumab causes a variety of autoimmune-related adverse events (irAEs). The current report details a 70-year-old woman with clear cell renal cell carcinoma metastasis in the lung. Two weeks after two courses of treatment, the patient complained of headache, dizziness and nausea. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis revealed an elevated protein level of 195 mg/dl and a significantly elevated white blood cell (WBC) count of 830/mm3 (lymphocytes, 825/mm3; neutrophils, 5/mm3). The results excluded malignancy and infection. The patient was diagnosed with aseptic meni...
