WVU Researcher to Help Target Victims of Rural Sex Trafficking Through New Mobile App

A researcher at West Virginia University School of Medicine has developed an app to train law enforcement and health department staff in rural areas how to recognize signs of child sex trafficking. The SexExRural app includes training content created with the input of trafficking survivors and health professionals, as well as resources for reporting and supporting victims.
