In Reply We thank Soares-dos-Reis and Messina for their comments on our article. We agree that clinical observational data are often limited and require cautious interpretation. For this reason, we have used our preliminary observational data to collaborate with other centers and establish a prospective trial to address this important question (NCT03535298).
