Does Drinking Together Promote Relationship Intimacy? Temporal Effects of Daily Drinking Events.

CONCLUSIONS: Results provide the first evidence that some types of drinking events contribute to the occurrence of couple intimacy experiences within the next few hours and help to explain previously observed long-term effects of congruent drinking patterns on couple functioning.
