Ac154 carried out anti-apoptotic role during AcMNPV infection process in the host insect cells.

In conclusion, our results demonstrated Ac154 could delay apoptosis process in host cells by regulating the transcription of p35 gene and the expression of SfP53 protein, which provided a more favorable environment for progeny virus replication and packaging, thereby promoting the proliferation of progeny virus.
