Acute commissural rupture in a giant aortic root aneurysm

Here, we reported one case of commissural rupture in the presence of a giant root aneurysm and a history of chronic aortic regurgitation, which emphasized the diagnostic value of high-quality 3-dimensional reconstructions of multimodality imaging in assessing the cause of abruptly deteriorating valve regurgitation.
