Kids and cannabinoids: what is the evidence?

At an increasing rate, the use of marijuana, its extracts, and the synthetic forms of its chemical constituents is being legalized in the United States for the treatment of medical conditions (ie, medical marijuana). In this Clinical Perspectives, we review the current landscape of medical marijuana and the evidence for use in the medical and psychopharmacologic treatment of children, adolescents, and adults.
