66.2 psychotherapeutic interventions for adhd: lessons from the summer program for kids (spk)

The objectives of this presentation are: 1) to review the literature on behavioral interventions, including parent training, for the treatment of ADHD; 2) to describe a specific comprehensive behavioral treatment intervention strategy, a summer camp —the Summer Program for Kids (SPK)—that addresses ADHD symptoms; and 3) to extrapolate findings from the SPK to general clinical practice with children with ADHD and their families.
