83.1 psychosocial determinants of mental health for undocumented immigrant youths
Undocumented immigrant youths experience a multitude of psychosocial stressors related to acculturation and legal uncertainties not shared by their age-equivalent, native cohort. Currently, there are approximately 2.2 million undocumented youths ages 24 and under in the United States. The primary objective of this presentation is to provide participants with an understanding of how such psychosocial factors may influence mental health outcomes in undocumented immigrant youths.
