1.2 screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (sbirt): education in child and adolescent psychiatry training curriculum

The NIDA-AACAP Resident Training Award in Substance Use Disorders afforded recipients an opportunity: 1) to promote and improve knowledge of evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) treatment among health care providers; 2) to promote dissemination of SUD research findings; 3) to promote the adoption of evidence-based approaches in medical settings; and 4) to facilitate the professional growth and development of future leaders in SUD management and research.
