1.54 incontinence in children and adolescents admitted to a state psychiatric hospital
Incontinence is common in children. The association of mental illness diagnoses with both urinary and fecal incontinence has been well-established. The primary objective of this study is to identify the prevalence of incontinence in inpatient psychiatric settings. Secondary objectives were to study the coexisting mental health disorders, the use of psychotropic drugs, and the length of hospital stay.
