1.55 empathy, experience, and cultural beliefs determine the attitudes towards depression among pakistani medical students

Medical students are an inherent part of society, and opinions are formed and affected by the attitudes common in the sociocultural milieu from which they originate. The knowledge and attitude toward depression among medical students are of immense value, because these undergraduates will be future specialists who might be involved in taking care of patients with mental illnesses. However, a lack of data about the attitudes toward depression among Pakistani medical students necessitates further meticulous investigation.
