3.24 evaluating child psychiatry access programs: a systematic review

Between 13 and 20 percent of US children experience mental health problems annually. There is a well-documented gap between the need for and availability of mental health services for children nationwide. In response to this demand, more than 30 regional Child Psychiatry Access Programs (CPAPs) have been established to provide mental health consultation to primary care providers. The purpose of this review was to understand how CPAPs in the United States have been evaluated.
