3.27 validity of the arabic version early childhood screening assessment (ecsa) tool in primary health care settings in rural areas of egypt

In primary care settings, approximately 10 percent of preschoolers have severe mental health (MH) problems that hinder their functioning in family, childcare, and peer settings. The Early Childhood Screening Assessment (ECSA) was developed to recognize MH problems in very young children (ages 1.5 –5 years) in primary care settings. This research aimed to study the validity of the Arabic version of ECSA and to evaluate test-retest reliability.
