3.28 validity and reliability of the arabic version of early childhood screening assessment tool

In primary care settings, approximately 10 percent of preschool-aged children have severe mental health (MH) problems that hinder their functioning in family, childcare, and peer settings. The Early Childhood Screening Assessment (ECSA) is developed to recognize MH problems in very young children (ages 6 months –5 years) in primary care settings. This research studied the validity of the Arabic version of the ECSA and evaluated test-retest reliability.
