3.30 the effects on child development of a nurse home visitation program for pregnant youth living in adverse conditions: a randomized controlled trial

Children of adolescent mothers are at risk for a wide range of adverse outcomes, such as impaired development. Home-visiting programs (HVP) are a well-known set of interventions able to modify environmental risk factors related to child adverse outcomes. We tested the efficacy of a nurse HVP named Primeiros La ços on child development in the first 24 months of life.
