3.55 utility of the suicide risk assessment  for children and adolescents checklist (sracc) training module to improve competency of clinicians evaluating child and adolescent suicide risk

Suicide risk assessment is a core competency requirement in residency-training programs. A standardized and comprehensive assessment is a much-needed resource for teaching suicide risk evaluation and in bolstering confidence of practicing clinicians who want to implement evidence-based or standardized practices to their patient care. This assessment tool helps trainees and practicing clinicians to hone in on frequently missed key portions of history leading to increased triage efficiency and ultimately better treatment plans.
