In nearly every circumstance, this can either WAIT UNTIL MORNING and/or CAN BE TAKEN CARE OF IN A THOUSAND OTHER SETTINGS THAN THE ER. 3:30 AM PEG tube dysfunction?! Put the patient back to bed, and then call the facility MD at 7 AM. 10:30 PM catheter that won't drain urine? Flush it, and let the old man sleep. He'll sleep hard overnight. Then, sort... Two Chief Complaints that drive me nuts.
