P.15Myopathies featuring early or prominent dysphagia

Dysphagia occurs in a variety of neuromuscular disorders, including motor neuron diseases, myasthenia gravis (MG) and myopathies. Limited data exist regarding myopathies with early/ prominent dysphagia. We conducted a retrospective study over 16 years to identify myopathy patients, in whom dysphagia was the initial symptom or was disproportionately severe compared to limb weakness (evidence of aspiration on swallowing study or requirement of diet modification, procedural intervention or feeding tube while ambulatory)..
