P.44Safety and tolerability of losmapimod, a selective p38 α/β MAPK inhibitor, for treatment of FSHD at its root cause

The objective is to report the known safety and tolerability of losmapimod. For this we reviewed safety and tolerability of losmapimod from all previou sly completed studies. The results showed extensive previous clinical testing of losmapimod in over 3,500 healthy subjects and patients across at least 10 different adult indications for its anti-inflammatory potential (including COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, neuropathic pain, and atherosclerosis) but never in FSHD or other muscle diseases.
