Ultrastructural changes of extraocular muscles in strabismus patients.

In conclusion, our study traces some characteristic ultrastructural changes in strabismic EOMs, most notably, extensive vacuolation, clustering of mitochondria, degeneration of myofibrils and autophagic changes.
