Gallbladder Hematocele with Incomplete Colon Obstruction Secondary to Hepatic Artery Pseudoaneurysm Following Blunt Abdominal Trauma

A 7-year-old boy was transferred to our hospital after a 5-day history of hematemesis and melena because of blunt abdominal trauma. Physical examination revealed an anemic appearance, negative Murphy sign, and abdominal tenderness without rebound. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy suggested active bleeding from the major duodenal papilla (Figure  1). Angiography revealed a pseudoaneurysm origin from the left hepatic artery (Figure 2; available at www.jpeds.com). After embolization, hematemesis and melena disappeared gradually.
