Giant spigelian hernia presenting as small bowel obstruction: case report and review of literature

CONCLUSIONEven if rarely symptomatic, the Spigelian Hernia is an entity to consider in the differential diagnosis of small bowel obstruction in a virgin abdomen. Preoperative diagnosis, when available, is mandatory to guide a correct surgical approach.
