Comment on: Short-term follow-up results of children with familial Mediterranean fever after cessation of colchicine: is it possible to quit?: reply
Sir, We read the letter from Satis et al. [1] regarding our article ‘Short-term follow-up results of children with familial Mediterranean fever after cessation of colchicine: is it possible to quit?’ [2]. It was very nice to know that the article was noticed, due to the very important issue it concerns, i.e. quitting colchicine treatment. As the authors state, this issue is of great importance in clinical practice and it is hard to decide when to cease colchicine in FMF patients.
