Prediction of vibration and exhaust gas emission characteristics using palm oil with nano particle diesel fuel

Publication date: Available online 20 September 2019Source: Materials Today: ProceedingsAuthor(s): V. Velmurugan, S.M. Aathif Akmal, V. Paramasivam, S. ThanikaikarasanAbstractThe usage of biodiesel is one of the current trends in the development of reducing the environmental pollution due to the emission of toxic gases and annoying noise and vibration which affects the health of the automobile end users. Though many of the alternate bio fuels have been used by the research in the view of improving the performance of the diesel engines still some residual problems like to low frequency noise and emission in diesel engines are one of the challenging issues that have to be optimized. Here in this paper we are going to take an effort on analyzing the vibration and gas emission characteristics by using a new biodiesel additive called palm oil with the addition of the nano particle say titanium (IV) oxide and going to do the experimental procedure for ensuring the possibility of lesser vibration, and exhaust gas emission by using the Dewesoft applications, and the exhaust gas analyzer in four stroke diesel engines.

Abstract OBJECTIVE: Using a feasibility analysis and matched subgroup analysis, this study investigated the implementation/safety/outcomes of a stroke recovery program (SRP) integrating modified cardiac rehabilitation for stroke survivors. DESIGN: This prospective cohort study of 783 stroke survivors were discharged from an inpatient rehabilitation facility to an outpatient setting; 136 SRP-participants completed a feasibility study and received the SRP including modified cardiac rehabilitation, 473 chose standard of care rehabilitation (nonparticipants), and a group (n = 174) were excluded. The feasibility s...

This study aimed to investigate possible correlations between functional abnormalities of brain networks, measured by small world characteristics detected in resting state EEG source investigation, and early post-stroke clinical outcome in order to find a possible predictive index of functional recovery to address and/or correct the rehabilitation program.

Conclusion: This case demonstrates that neurological involvement might be an early symptom of BD. IL-8 could act as a novel target for the treatment of BD theoretically and probably play a key role in disease recovery.

asumoto Changing behavior related to improper lifestyle habits has attracted attention as a solution to prevent lifestyle diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, and stroke. To drive health behavior changes, wearable devices are needed, and they must not only provide accurate sensing and visualization functions but also effective intervention functions. In this paper, we propose a health support system, WaistonBelt X, that consists of a belt-type wearable device with sensing and intervention functions and a smartphone application. WaistonBelt X can automatically measure a waistline with a magnetome...

hao Fan A low-cost miniature homodyne interferometer (MHI) with self-wavelength correction and self-wavelength stabilization is proposed for long-stroke micro/nano positioning stage metrology. In this interferometer, the displacement measurement is based on the analysis of homodyne interferometer fringe pattern. In order to miniaturize the interferometer size, a low-cost and small-sized laser diode is adopted as the laser source. The accuracy of the laser diode wavelength is real-time corrected by the proposed wavelength corrector using a modified wavelength calculation equation. The variation of the laser diode wavele...
