This is the first report of extensively disseminated intra-abdominal eumycetomas due to Curvularia resulting in urinary tract obstruction and associated chronic recurrent urinary tract infections in a Labrador retriever. Identification of the fungal genus was performed on samples obtained from culture of eumycetomic fungal grains that had been collected sterilely at necropsy.
