Lockport nursing home sale helps fund Clarence site expansion
A new foundation funded by the sale of a nonprofit nursing home has made its first major grant.
The Odd Fellow& Rebekah Benefit Fund awarded $300,000 to the Brothers of Mercy in Clarence to help fund a new assisted living wing at the Brothers of Mercy Memory Care& Enhanced Assisted Living Community, now in development.
The fund was formed last year following the $10 million sale of the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Rehabilitation& Health Care Center in Lockport to Post Acute Partners, creating Elderwood …
