Effects of ethyl alcohol on injuries severity according to injury severity scales in pedestrian fatal injury in traffic crashes.

CONCLUSIONS: The studies show that ethyl alcohol concentration may harm injury severity, especially in the case of women. The assessment of the severity of injuries in traffic crash victims is significantly influenced by their age and gender. The more risk factors the scale takes into consideration, the more precise is the assessment. PMID: 31524049 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Here, graphene oxide-based gel electrolyte samples were prepared by exploiting Poly (vinyl alcohol) as the polymer matrix and H₃PO₄ as ion producer. There has been a significant improvement in ionic conductivity by adding a small amount of graphene oxide, 0.05 wt % and 0.1 ...

Firstly a series of polyfluorinated 2-alkynylanilines – the versatile building blocks – was synthesized by the Sonogashira reaction of o-iodoaniline with terminal alkynes. Then the transformations of the obtained 2,3,4-trifluo-6-alkynilanilines in the presence of KOH or PdCl2 in MeCN, and in the presence of monohydrate of p-toluenesulfonic aci...
