A Clinicoepidemiological Study of Pediatric Cutaneous Leishmaniasis in Sinjar Province, Iraq.
In conclusion, treatment success rate was high with the use of intralesional injection of sodium stibogluconate. A significant association was found between the number of lesions and the number of doses. Further studies are required to assess the treatment outcome indicators, including the genotype of leishmania.
