Preoperative Anxiety Levels and Pain during Cataract Surgery.
Conclusions: One-fifth of patients experienced severe anxiety and pain. Preoperative anxiety levels was the only significant predictor of pain. Reducing preoperative anxiety in cataract patients is warranted.
