Ambulatory Central Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation in Lung Transplant Candidates
We describe a technique of minimally invasive central VA ECMO that spares the sternum. This tunneled approach minimizes the risk of catheter –associated infections and allows the patient to be ambulatory.
