Three-year prospective study on olfaction of patients with Parkinson ’s disease

We conducted a 3-year prospective study on olfaction of patients with Parkinson ’s disease (PD) in order to examine the severity and frequency of smell disorder in PD using odor identification test, Open Essence (OE) and to verify the validity of olfactory tests as a predictor of cognitive symptom onset of PD.
