A case of bulky pseudohyperplastic prostatic adenocarcinoma. Aktuelle Urol. 2019 Sep 04;: Authors: Narita T, Kondo A, Maeda M, Funahashi Y, Tanaka K, Gotoh M Abstract A 67-year-old male with a pelvic mass 13 × 7 cm in dimension was diagnosed with a pseudohyperplastic prostatic adenocarcinoma via mass biopsy. Androgen-deprivation therapy was remarkably effective, resulting in rapid tumor shrinkage. PMID: 31486059 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

ConclusionLow primary SUVmax, low serum CEA level, female and never smoker were four prognostic factors suggestive of good response to TKI in mutated EGFR metastatic lung adenocarcinoma. SUVmax is probably the most important among the four factors.
Authors: Darzi S, Mirzaei SA, Elahian F, Shirian S, Peymani A, Rahmani B, Dibazar SP, Aali E Abstract The capability of flavonoids in sensitizing cancer cells was demonstrated in numerous works to chemotherapy and converse multidrug resistance by modulating efflux pumps and apoptosis mechanisms. Three flavonoids, namely, bavachinin, tephrosin, and candidone, have been recently introduced to cancer treatment research presenting various activities, such as antibacterial, immunomodulatory, cell death, and anticancer. Less information exists regarding the therapeutic significance of these flavonoids in cancer treatment...
(Impact Journals LLC) Molecular subtypes based on copy number, DNA methylation, and mRNA expression had variable proliferation levels, the highest correlating with decreased survival.
ConclusionCTLA-4 and PD-L1 are potential therapeutic targets in cervical cancer.
Hepatoid adenocarcinoma of lung (HAL) is a rare and aggressive tumor. The current study reported a new HAL case in the right lower lung with high serum α-fetoprotein (AFP) level in a 71-year-old male patient. After the confirmation of morphology and immunohistochemistry, the patient was diagnosed clinically with HAL and treated with radio-frequency ablation. However, the patient whose disease progressed eventually died 4 months after diagnosis. Whole genome sequencing analysis identified a driver gene mutation in the FAT atypical cadherin 1 gene (FAT1) and the copy number loss. The tumor was microsatellite-stable and...

Authors: Zhou WP, Zan XY, Liu X, Sudarshan SKP, Yang SD, Fang XM, Guo YJ, Hu XY Abstract OBJECTIVE: To investigate the characterization of breast lesions using diffusion kurtosis model-based imaging. METHODS: This prospective study included 120 consecutive patients underwent preoperative DCE-MRI examinations and multi-b-value diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). Among them, 88 malignant lesions and 44 benign lesions were detected, 56 normal fibroglandular breast tissue were selected as normal control. Conventional apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), DKI-based parameters mean kurtosis (MK) and mean diffusivity (M...
