Haponiuk, Sreeraj GopiAbstractBionanocomposites prepared from green sources are a promising research area and cellulose nanofibers obtained from agro-waste of ginger rhizomes and their different composites with starch, chitosan (CS) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) have exhibited enormous mechanical as well as antimicrobial properties. This paper reports the synthesis of magnetic ginger nanofiber (M-GNF) reinforced composite films with CS, PVA and potato starch (PS) by Fe3O4 ...

This systematic review, following PRISMA guidelines, encompasses all human studies using eye tracking in participants presenting acute alcohol consumption. A literature search was conducted in PsycINFO, PubMed and Scopu...

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis indicated that CR and ATH were successfully immobilized into the film-forming substrate based on starch, polyvinyl alcohol (SPVA) and glycerol. The incorporation of different natural dyes had no significant effect on moisture content, water solubility, wa...

This study investigated the effects of pasture on nutritional characteristics and volatile components of sheep's milk, yoghurt and cheese produced in central Italy. During two grazing seasons (winter and spring) aliquots of fodder, yoghurt, fresh cheese and the corresponding ripened cheese were taken and analysed in relation to nutritional composition and volatile compounds. The grazing season influenced the chemical composition of the sheep's milk and dairy products, giving the cheese from the spring pasture a significantly higher dry matter content (61.26% vs 52.85%). Spring dairy products were also significantly higher ...

Conclusion: Some patients with psychiatric syndromes and increased ANA titers may suffer from psychiatric variants of SLE, even if the American College of Rheumatology criteria for SLE are not met. Whether the psychiatric symptoms in our patient represent a prodromal stage with the later manifestation of full-blown SLE or a subtype of SLE with isolated CNS involvement remains unclear. Regardless, early diagnosis and initiation of immunosuppressive treatment are essential steps in preventing further disease progression and organ damage. Intrathecal ANAs with extractable nuclear antigen differentiation may be a more sensitiv...
