Distribution, diversity, virulence genotypes and antibiotic resistance for Salmonella isolated from a Brazilian pork production chain.
This study provides valuable insight about the epidemiology of Salmonella in swine production, and despite the low presence of this pathogen in carcasses and meat cuts, the majority of isolates was multidrug resistant.
