Newark Gets $120M Loan To Replace Lead Pipes As Water Crisis Continues

NEWARK, N.J. - New Jersey officials on Aug. 26 announced that the Essex County Improvement Authority has agreed to loan the city of Newark $120 million to replace water service lines made of lead, which are leaching the toxin into the residential water supply.
