ConclusionSurvival of fat cell grafts and the breast lipofilling complication depends on the techniques used to harvest and then injecting the fat into the receiver site. However, the preliminary results should be confirmed in larger series, and the radiographic follow-up of women undergoing breast lipofilling should be standardized to ensure reproducibility and improve patient safety.Level of evidenceLevel V, therapeutic study.

AbstractBackgroundThe density of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) is a predictive factor for response to neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST) in breast cancer. High TIL density correlates with higher complete pathologic remission (pCR) in triple negative and HER2 positive breast cancer. Additionally, not only TIL density but also subsets of immune cells in tumor stroma seem to play an important role in cancer and immune cell interaction and response to chemotherapy. Our aim is to determine TIL density and expression of CD 20, CD3, CD8, PD-L1, FOXP3 and PGM1 on core biopsy specimen and find a correlation with pCR.Trial d...

AbstractPurposeTo develop a multiparametric [18F]FDG positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) model for breast cancer diagnosis incorporating imaging biomarkers of breast tumors and contralateral healthy breast tissue.MethodsIn this prospective study and retrospective data analysis, 141 patients (mean 57  years) with an imaging abnormality detected on mammography and/or ultrasound (BI-RADS 4/5) underwent combined multiparametric [18F]FDG PET/MRI with PET/computed tomography and multiparametric MRI of the breast at 3  T. Images were evaluated and the following were recorded: for the tumor,...

Conclusions: We found the diagnostic yield of ultrasound screening for breast cancer in high-risk population was satisfactory. Prediction models based on environmental risk factors had limited prediction accuracy and need to be improved in the future. Introduction With an estimate of 2,088,849 newly diagnosed cases in 2018 worldwide, breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer for women and is also the leading cause of cancer-related deaths (1). In China, the burden of breast cancer increased dramatically for the past decades, with incidence and mortality of 28.77 per 10,000 and 6.35 per 10,000, respectiv...

Conclusion: The texture analysis for breast DCE-MRI proposed in this study demonstrated potential utility in HER2 2+ status discrimination. Background Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) is an orphan tyrosine kinase receptor. It is reported that HER2 is overexpressed in 15–20% of breast cancers. Overexpression of HER2 in breast cancer correlates with shortened disease-free survival. Compared with HER2-negative patients, patients with HER2-positive breast cancers have a poor prognosis, a high probability of lymph node metastasis and a high risk of recurrence (1–3). However, previous studies h...

ConclusionConflicting evidences and lacking data about the benefits in terms of overall survival, disease-free survival and the long-term outcomes related to prophylactic bilateral mastectomy for CDH1 mutation carriers restrict the instruction for this type of procedure to selected cases, which should always be managed by a multidisciplinary team.
