19. Adult symptomatic lumbar scoliosis patients have high orthopedic disease burden beyond their spinal deformities: results from a prospective multicenter study
Although the health impact of adult symptomatic lumbar scoliosis (ASLS) is substantial, these patients often have other orthopedic disease burden that may further negatively impact their health-related quality of life (HRQL) and recovery following ASLS treatment. This additional disease burden has not been well quantified in the ASLS population.
