Political and policy detailing tactics

This article explores various components that should be included in a tactical policy plan. Examples from the author's experience are provided to illustrate the implementation of particular political and policy detailing tactics. Many of the examples provided reference Texas specifically. Readers are encouraged to explore legislation passed in other states and consider how strategies and tactics employed are similar to or different from those applied in Texas.
