EMT Crew, Doctor Honored for Saving Man ’s Life

ABC Columbia COLUBMIA, S.C. – An EMS crew from Richland County and a doctor were honored for saving the life of a man after suffering a medical emergency. John Johnson ruptured a hernia and lost consciousness at home back in March, ABC Columbia reports. Police were called to his home after he did not show up to work. The EMT crew and doctor were able to keep him alive. At a ceremony yesterday, everyone involved were honored with their own day. Johnson has since fully recovered, the station reports.
