Pfizer to build $500M facility in NC, create hundreds of jobs

Leaning into its success with gene therapy, Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) has announced a half-billion dollar expansion of its Sanford footprint, which is expected to bring 300 jobs to the region. The $500 million investment will be used for the construction of a state-of-the-art gene therapy manufacturing facility in Sanford.
