A comparison of azathioprine and mycophenolate mofetil as adjuvant drugs in pemphigus patients: A retrospective cohort study

Background: Azathioprine (AZA) and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) are the first-line adjuvant immunosuppressant used in combination to corticosteroids for pemphigus vulgaris (PV) and pemphigus foliaceus (PF). However, few studies have compared the efficacy between AZA and MMF for pemphigus especially in the Asian population.
