Experience with secukinumab in the treatment of palmoplantar pustular psoriasis: Analysis of 6 cases

Introduction and Objectives: Pustular palmoplantar psoriasis (PPPP) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin characterized by erythema, hyperkeratosis and crops of sterile pustules on palms and soles. Although it is considered a clinical variant of psoriasis vulgaris, the inflammatory molecular pathways involved have not been fully explained. Given the lack of approved pharmacologic agents for this indication and the frequent recalcitrant course of the disease, therapeutic options are limited.
