Vitiligo-like depigmentation in a patient with advanced melanoma

We present the case of a 56-year-old female with past medical history significant for melanoma on her right sole (unknown Breslow thickness) in 2013 that was excised. In 2016, she presented to our clinic with seronegative dermatomyositis and PET-CT Scan showed hypermetabolic lymph nodes. Subsequent inguinal lymph node biopsies showed melanoma metastasis and was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma (TxN3bM1a). Ipilimumab and nivolumab combined therapy was started. Approximately ten days after starting therapy, the patient presented with depigmented macules in a freckled-pattern on her face, trunk and extremities, most abundant in sun-exposed areas.
