Asthma is the dominant factor for recurrence in Chronic Rhinosinusitis

ConclusionsPrognosis in patients with CRSwNP was inferior to that in patients with CRSsNP. Asthma was the only factor that increased the chance of recurrence in patients with either CRSsNP or CRSwNP.

CONCLUSION: Recent advances in our understanding of the fundamental drivers of the chronic respiratory inflammation in CRSwNP has led to the identification of several potential therapeutic targets for this disease. CONCLUSION: Our results did not show that S. aureus found in nasal mucosa membrane is significantly different in patients with or without NP.
