Intraprocedural cone-beam computed tomography (CT) aids in performing transarterial liver-directed therapies by providing accurate spatial evaluation of the arterial supply and identifying potential tumor-feeding vessels (1). Additionally, guidance software enables automatic identification of the tumor-feeding vasculature based on cone-beam CT and provides a 3-dimensional (3D) roadmap to guide vessel selection (2,3). Knowledge of the tumor-feeding vessels alone, however, may be insufficient in some cases when determining the ideal final microcatheter position for safe and effective treatment delivery.

CONCLUSIONS: While clinicians feel that LDCT LCS may benefit some HNC survivors, there are barriers both to implementing LCS SDM for these patients in primary care as currently recommended and to integrating it into cancer clinics. Challenges for SDM across settings include a lack of decision aids tailored to patients with cancer histories. Conclusions: This cadaveric study aids in establishing the prevalence of LSTV (12.7%) in a random population and the frequency of the various Castellvi LSTV morphologies. An association was found between type Ia morphology and L4–L5 osteoarthritis which has not been reported in the past, suggesting that mild LSTV may carry more significance to lumbar pathology than previously considered.

We present a case of extracavitary PEL in an HIV-infected patient, regressed after ART initiation. CASE PRESENTATION: A 42-year-old male was admitted to the emergency room because of several months of malaise, fever and progressive deterioration of the general conditions.
