Reactive modifications of DNA nucleobases for labelling, bioconjugations, and cross-linking.

Reactive modifications of DNA nucleobases for labelling, bioconjugations, and cross-linking. Curr Opin Chem Biol. 2019 Aug 12;52:136-144 Authors: Ivancová I, Leone DL, Hocek M Abstract Modification of DNA with reactive groups and their post-synthetic transformations are useful for labelling, imaging, bioconjugations and cross-linking with other (bio)molecules. This review summarizes the recent progress in this field and covers transformations of oxo groups, cycloadditions, conjugate additions, alkylations, cross-couplings and other reactions. Examples of applications are given and the practicability and scope of the reactions are discussed. PMID: 31415984 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

ConclusionSubstantial agreement exists among experts regarding many strong recommendations for the improvement of practice concerning the use of muscle relaxants and reversal agents during anaesthesia. In particular, the French Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) recommends the use of a device to monitor neuromuscular blockade throughout anaesthesia.
