Comparison of routinely performed computed tomography with late gadolinium enhancement on cardiac magnetic resonance in the detection of myocardial pathology.

CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggests that routinely performed CECT has high specificity, albeit only moderate sensitivity compared to CMR in evaluation of the myocardial tissue. This result supports the recommendation that all CECT scans that visualise the entire heart should be analysed for myocardial tissue pathology. PMID: 31406099 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
