CEO of Overstock claims that AG William Barr FINALLY set to break open the biggest political scandal in the history of America: Spygate

(Natural News) We’ve been listening to conservative talking heads on the networks and reading stories on independent media claiming for months that the “Spygate” investigation was going to be exposed big time and that the guilty would finally be held to account.  Each time the warning sounded more dire. “Just you wait,” we have been...

We examined whether advanced MRI analysis techniques have the capacity to detect brain injury (particularly white matter injury) caused by chronic hypoxia-induced fetal growth restriction in newborn preterm lambs.MethodsSurgery was undertaken in twin bearing pregnant ewes at 88–90 days gestation (term = 150 days) to induce FGR in one fetus. At 127 days gestation (~32 weeks human brain development), FGR and control (appropriate for gestational age, AGA) lambs were delivered by caesarean section, intubated and ventilated. Conventional and advanced brain imaging was conducted within the first two hours of li...

Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the size of the CNV lesion as measured on either commercially available spectral domain OCTA device. Both devices were comparable in their detection of CNV lesions on manual adjustment of segmentation lines. However, their automated segmentation algorithms need improvement to allow for accurate measurement of CNV lesions for routine clinical application.

Purpose: To assess foveal and parafoveal vasculature at the superficial capillary plexus, deep capillary plexus, and choriocapillaris of patients with X-linked retinoschisis by means of optical coherence tomography angiography. Methods: Six patients with X-linked retinoschisis (12 eyes) and seven healthy controls (14 eyes) were recruited and underwent complete ophthalmologic examination, including best-corrected visual acuity, dilated fundoscopy, and 3 × 3-mm optical coherence tomography angiography macular scans (DRI OCT Triton; Topcon Corp). After segmentation and quality review, optical coherence tomography a...

ConclusionsIn this pilot study we observed a consistent and statistically significant decrease in VI and fibroid volume after three months of LPA treatment in patients with uterine fibroids. The decrease in fibroid volume and VI was less consistent after UPA use. The strong correlation between the VI at baseline and volume reduction, may in theory be used to predict the volume reduction after LPA.

This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, number NCT02119182.FindingsBetween Feb 26, 2014, and June 15, 2018, we recruited 450 patients with normal head CT scans (of whom 330 had negative MRI scans and 120 had positive MRI scans), 122 orthopaedic trauma controls, and 209 healthy controls. AUC for GFAP in patients with CT-negative and MRI-positive findings versus patients with CT-negative and MRI-negative findings was 0·777 (95% CI 0·726–0·829) over 24 h. Median plasma GFAP concentration was highest in patients with CT-negative and MRI-positive findings (414·4 pg/mL, 25–75th p...

Conclusion: Three out of four patients with a knee trauma in general practice reported return to sports at three months follow-up. A combination of patient/trauma characteristics and knee complaints predicted no return to sports, whereas MR findings had no additive value.   Trial registration: Dutch trial registration: registration number: NTR3689. registration date: 7 November 2012. Publication date: Available online 23 August 2019Source: Canadian Journal of DiabetesAuthor(s): Paolo RaggiAbstractIf a disease state is highly prevalent and its consequences are severe, it may be appropriate to seek methods to identify it early in order to forestall its development and complications. Diabetes mellitus is a proven risk factor for the development of atherosclerosis although its face and outcome are changing as shown in contemporary clinical trials. In fact, decompensated heart failure (HF) seems to drive the hospitalization rate in patients with diabetes and the mortality from HF is reduced with modern hypo...
