The Sly Oncogene: FOXA1 Mutations in Prostate Cancer

However, the mechanism by which these mutations act was until now largely unknown. Two recent publications clearly demonstrate that FOXA1 acts as an oncogene in prostate cancer and delineate the phenotypic effects of distinct classes of FOXA1 alterations.
